Which springs? Empty Which springs?

Post by Gdmbat85 Sat Feb 23, 2008 3:19 pm

Ok guys, I'm looking for some springs to match tokico illuminas. I've basically narrowed it down to Eibach prokits and Tanabe GF's. I know that prokits are tried and true, however I'm wondering if the GF's are better. I hear a lot of people saying that they have illuminas with prokits and they're running it on the number 5 setting and it still feels good. I'm thinking that if I get the Tanabe springs instead, they should be a bit more stiff and make a number 3 setting feel like a number 5 setting with prokits. What do you guys think? I tried finding the spring rates, but I haven't really been able to find reliable numbers on the prokits (330F/160R). I've found 7.8Kg F / 7.3Kg R for the tanabes. Does anyone know what those translate to in Lbs/in?

How do you drive: autox, track, drag, street race, or just want a lowered look and want the best ride?
