track day: Pocono on 3/28

Pocono Raceway in PA, on the north course, Performance Drivers Association. Its an open track day (no timetrial or timing kept) where you just do open lap sessions. PDA will be using it to train their driving instructors. Thats on a Friday.

I'm thinking about doing it, but not really sure. I really want to do it to get at least one track day in, in case I break something during an autox that my lazy ass will take months to fix. Dunno if its worth taking a day off from work.

Open track day huh..... I may be interested. However street wars is the very next day and I'll either not want to drive 2+ hours every day or I'll be doing some last minute stuff to my car in prep for street wars. If it was after, I'd be down.

the mother of all car shows

I wouldn't exactly call it the mother of all car shows. But probably one of the best that I know of that's held in Jersey. Theres a post on this site with the details of the show. More info can be found on NJTuners if you're a member. Search "street wars 3" on youtube to see a video of last years street wars. It's basically a mini NOPI kinda event. Plenty of cars, trophies, and most importantly, HOT CHICKS! There's 80+ people registered to enter just from NJTuners. I expect about 200 cars to enter this year.
