My 95 Tsi awd... Empty My 95 Tsi awd...

Post by Turbotaloon95 Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:08 am

Kinda bored during my lunch here at work so I decided to post up about my car. The forum's here are kinda empty since it just got started.....

So it's a green 95 tsi awd. Body is in decent shape, but eventually I want to get all the dings out. It's got some random like 7 or 8 spoke wheels on it that I painted black. Tinted tail lights. Leather seats, power driver side. About 155K on the original 7-bolt.

Mods so far...
Hybrid 16G/18G custom built turbo (basically the sleeper 16g that FP sells).
Ported exhaust manifold and o2 housing
Street core FMIC with long route piping and Greddy Type S (a real one)
RC 550's
Walbro 190 FP
"Custom" exhaust pipe intake pipe with stock MAS and open air filter
Oil catch can
Drilled rotors all around
Green stuff pads all around
DSMLink
AEM UEGO Wideband
ACT 2600

Mods on their way...
750cc or 780cc injectors
Walbro 255 FP
FPR
ARP Head Studs
Revised lifters
Some type of externally gated 50 trim to be determined
External WG (either off turbo or o2 housing depending...)
Complete black interior (leather seats, carpet, dash, trim, door skins, etc)

I could only find a few pics that were taken this past fall. I'll have some more when the weather is warmer and I can wash her again. Maybe we should get a bunch of us together for a DSM shoot in the springs?

This is when I had a CF OEM hood on it. I took it off because it just didn't fit right.

Nice. That's a great idea with the DSM shoot. I should be able to borrow a really nice camera from my cousin. I can't wait for the nice weather again.

Thanks man!!

I just ordered a whole mess of parts this weekend. Dropping money like it's going out of style. Here's what I got so far that needs to be installed:

FPR
PTE 780cc injectors
Walbro 255 pump
BC 272/272 cams
ARP Head Studs
3g Revised Lifters
Wideband sensor and gauge holder (so I can finally install the gauge)

And my FAVORITE Very Happy
Forced Performance FP3150 dual ball bearing turbo!! (LINK FP3150)

There was a sale under "Vendor Announcements" on DSMTuner for $995 so I couldn't pass it up. Now I just have to order the o2 housing and a 44mm EWG.

In the near future:
Head redecked
Ported
3 angle valve job
Whole timing belt job (maintenance is such a PITA)
Tial 44mm EWG
FP custom v-band o2 housing

In the not as near future:
3" Turbo back exhaust
Coilover suspension setup
Bigger FMIC and custom piping
Wider rims with sticky tires

O boy, you're gonna love the lifters. No more tap dancers from under the hood.
Seriously, though, let me know what you think of the cams- i think I'm about there, but don't have the money just yet.

Look forward to seeing it in person!
